EA SPORTS SIMULATION PICKS GERMANY TO WIN 2014 FIFA WORLD CUP

Check out this news from the Canadian Press:

TORONTO - Germany will emerge victorious from the World Cup by defeating host Brazil 2-1 in extra time on a goal by substitute Miroslav Klose, according to an EA Sports simulation of the tournament.
The simulation used the soccer engine in EA's "2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil" video game.
Brazil's Neymar wins the Golden Boot with six goals according to the simulation. Spain, meanwhile, beats Portugal 3-1 in the third-place game.

Germany's journey to the virtual final includes a 2-1 win over Argentina in the quarter-finals and a 5-4 penalty shootout victory over Spain in the semifinal.

Brazil beat Uruguay 4-3 in a penalty shootout in the quarter-finals and earned a 1-0 semifinal win over Portugal.

In the other simulated quarter-finals, Spain defeats England 2-0 and Portugal edges Nigeria 4-3.
In 2010, EA Sports' simulation correctly predicted a Spain win.
