Mayweather vs. Pacquiao Tickets No Cheaper Than $4.5K, High as $180K

Tickets to this week's superfight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are in short supply—and the prices are going crazy.

On some sites, the cheapest available seats for the MGM Grand on Saturday are now going for $4,500 each, while a pair of ringside seats are on sale for a combined $361,000.

The prices, promoter Bob Arum says, have gone into the stratosphere because they've crossed a threshold where they're now only affordable for people who aren't worried about the cost:
We've never seen anything like this in boxing, and I don't think in any sporting event.
The 1 percent has so much money, they don't know how to spend it. Whether it's yachts, paintings or tickets to a fight, money means nothing.
With figures like that, there might just be a call for a rematch no matter what the result.
